Italian Sangiovese red wine – Tuscany IGP
GRAPES:
100% Sangiovese.
Grapes coming from our Sangiovese vineyard.
VINIFICATION:
Alcoholic fermentation in wooden conical vats for 20 days, malolactic fermentation in barriques of first, second and third hand for 1 month.
REFINING:
18 months in French oak barriques, 18 months in bottle.
Colour: Ruby red.
Aroma: Typical scents of Sangiovese, like plum,black cherry and violet, followed by spicy cinnamon and tobacco notes.
Flavour: Pleasantly tannic and enveloping, full bodied and endowed with lingering after taste.
