Italian Chianti red wine – Tuscany IGP
GRAPES:
70% Sangiovese; 30% other vine varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot). Blend of grapes coming from the oldest vineyards.
VINIFICATION:
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless tanks for 15 days, malolactic fermentation in big wooden vats for 1 month.
REFINING:
6 months in big wooden vats, 6 months in bottle.
Colour: Ruby red, with rim tending to brick red.
Aroma: Notes of red fruits and plum, with pleasant floral scents.
Flavour: Fresh and lightly astringent, with lingering after taste.
